Service Description

Servicing a tap is not complicated but rarely done correctly! Isolate the water, put the plug in the waste (when you drop the screw it doesn't go down the plug hole), undo the tap handle and remove, using an adjustable spanner, remove the cartridge. remove the split pin on the cartridge or undo the packing gland nut and unwind(counterclockwise). clean and regrets all threads and reassemble, renew tap washer and put back, take the plug out and turn the water back on. Engineer will advise BEFORE charging begins!
